Hannah Bone is a contemporary landscape painter based in Totnes, Devon. Drawing from memory and emotional connection, she paints intuitively, using layers of mark-making, texture, and colour to evoke a sense of place.

Her creative process begins with direct experience—a walk along the cliffs or a swim in the sea often marks the beginning of a painting. Working quickly and intuitively, she absorbs the colours, sounds, textures, and rhythms of the landscape.

Hannah works from her garden studio, using a diverse range of materials and techniques to develop a loose, energetic visual language. Her work naturally abstracts the landscape, distilling its essence with gestural marks, atmospheric colour, and expressive texture.
